The flavors I’ve tried from the NEXA brand have all been quite good. Of course, some I like more than others, but none have turned me off. Even their sour apple, a flavor I typically hate, was decent enough for me to finish in the ULTRA (though I hadn’t realized that until after I finished the ULTRA review). I think the devices perform so well that even flavors I don’t like are able to shine. The benefit of the PIX over the ULTRA is that I’ve found there’s better flavor output from the PIX than the ULTRA. Comparing the watermelon ice flavor (which I’ve tried on both devices,) the PIX is a clear winner.
The PIX also introduces some different flavors from the ULTRA, with some overlap between the two (and some flavors that don’t appear on the PIX menu). The flavors they share in common: blue razz ice, blueberry watermelon, Miami mint, strawberry ice, Fcuking FAB, and white gummy.
The flavors new to the PIX: citrus rush, velvet latte, juicy grape, watermelon ice, frozen banana, sun slush, lemon blast, sour chill apple, and peach dive.
The flavors I tried are citrus rush, Fcuking FAB, and watermelon ice.
Fcuking FAB: I’m not totally sure what flavor combos are present here. The site shows gummy bears. From what I can taste, it’s a mix of sweet mango and orange. Regardless, it’s super flavorful and one of my favorites.
Watermelon ice: An aromatic, bright, and sweet flavor of watermelon that’s both natural and candy tasting. It draws the right balance between what watermelon tastes like, and what you want it to taste like. There’s nothing light about this flavor; well, except for the “ice,” which is fine by me.
Citrus rush: My least favorite of the bunch, though the name describes it well. It’s a rush of citrus! The thing that I’m not thrilled with is that the citrus flavor hits slightly harsh on the inhale. It’s not too bad, though, as I just modify my hits with a shorter inhale. While it’s not my favorite, I’m going to vape this until my tank’s been empty for a day or two (more on what that means in the next section).
