A discarded vape is believed to have sparked a fire at Biffa’s waste facility in Walsall, UK. The lithium battery inside the vape exploded after being thrown into a regular recycling bin. Biffa’s CEO warned about the dangers of improper battery disposal and urged using designated recycling options.
