HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A 16-year-old has been arrested in relation to a robbery at a vape shop, officials say.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, a white male entered the Infinity Tobacco and Vape Store and demanded money from the employee.
Officials say the suspect kept one hand in his pocket, leading the store employee to believe he was armed.
After the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the store on foot.
Deputies were close to the vape shop when the report of a robbery came in and were able to quickly respond.

Deputies say they found a white male matching the suspect’s description behind the store and took him into custody without incident.
The suspect was identified as a 16-year-old. His name will not be released.

The teen was taken to the W.W. Moore Juvenile Detention Facility in Danville, Virginia, where he will be held until his next court proceeding.
